For over 25 years, the Raisin Pickers has cultivated a loyal following with its mix of Appalachian music, old time swing, bluegrass, and swamp driven Louisiana sounds. These musicians, featuring bass, fiddle, banjo, guitar, and vocals, understand the origin of traditional music with a style of their own.

Harpists Nancy Lendrim and Jody Guinn have performed together for over 25 years as the Salzedo Harp Duo. Familiar to Defiance audiences for their arrangements of classical music for the harp, the duo kicks off the Christmas season with a holiday concert.

January 7, 7:00 p.m. ~ DCCC Performance Series Presents Amicus Duo, Stroede Center for the Arts

Amicus Duo was born in 2014 when cellist Coleman Itzkoff and pianist Alin Melik-Adamyan began their musical collaboration. Graduate students at USC, they have performed, as both soloists and partners, music from the classical cello and piano repertoire.

March 25, 7:00 p.m. ~ DCCC Performance Series Presents Cavatina Duo, Stroede Center for the Arts

Cavatina Duo has captivated audiences with its electrifying performances across North America. The repertoire of flutist Eugenia Moliner and guitarist Denis Azabagic includes music from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, while also featuring music of their native lands of Spain and the Balkans.
